"Hello My wife is going to work in Oman for 6 months. I would like to join her but can't see an obvious way with the visa system. The tourist visas seem to allow me either two months with the extension or visits of three weeks at a time with three week gaps. My questions are: - Is there a clever combination if these I could use to stay for longer? - If I go on a one month visa (plus extension), how long do you have to be out of the country before you can get another one? - How difficult are work permits / employment visas to obtain if I have a good contact in a business out there?
