It depends on their interests - sports clubs, philanthropic organizations, etc.

No. Not diverse, the college campus is to some extent, but in general, big country town.
What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?
Retail and financial headquarters. A lot of career opportunities, the unemployment levels are low, and the general level of professional qualifications is mediocre.
If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.
Again this depends on the situation, but in general, I'd advise against it.
