In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.

Sumit is a very diverse town with residnets of varying backgrounds and homes ranging from $200,000 to well over a million. There are also several hundred apartment and condo units as well as 2 low income and a subsidized senior housing complex. There are 10 churches and 2 synagouges in town.

What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?

Summit is home to a major pharmecuetical firm and a Chemical research operation as well as 2 hospitals. Many residents work in neighboring towns at Lucent (Bell Las), AT&T, major fincancial, publishing and pharmeceutical firms.

If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.

Summit has a very good school system, is a safe place to live and offers many municipal services with relatively low propery taxes compared to most of the area.
