People in Brookline are introverted and tend to spend time with people they already know as opposed to putting a priority on meeting new people.

In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.

The city of Brookline has a large Jewish and Asian population. Other cultures, religions and races are also evident and the City is truly a melting pot of tolerance.

What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?

The city's main industry is financial. Banking and investment are the largest. However, since Boston is just a stone's throw, you can find employment in almost every capacity.

If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.

The cost of living is very high. Real estate costs are some of the highest in the country and the taxes are extreme to fund an exceptional school system. Be prepared to require a budget unless your income is in the $200,000/year range or you are moving from another major city such as NY. LA or Chicago.
