The YMCA in Huntington, The Church/Religious affiliation or organization, Town Sports

In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.

Strong Christian, Jewish, Korean populations. The town is diverse and never seen a problem with the accepting of differences. The only thing we've noticed is that 90% of the public school (Syosset School District) is Jewish so Christian people are more apt to send their kids to parochial or private school for fear of not fitting in.

What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?

Diverse industry, primary work center is NYC

If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.

Like the water and be ready to deal with the traffic on Long Island in general.
