What activities, clubs and organizations would you recommend to newcomers to help them meet others?

There is a selection of British and Cypriot bars, these are a good meeting place. Also, the local garden centre which offer tea & coffee at the weekend.

In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.

The village is mainly Cypriot, but has a growing English population. Everyone gets on well together. It's a very peaceful place to live.

What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?

Jobs are found either in local magazines, newspapers or by word of mouth.

If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.

This is a great place to live - quiet, safe, with all the shops you need without leaving the village.
