Comments Print

What is the name of the city or town that you are reporting on?

Hackettstown

What activities, clubs and organizations would you recommend to newcomers to help them meet others?

Town Council, restaurants and bars

In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.

From what I can tell the town is very diverse. There are many different types of people living in the community. There is a college in town, so you see some interesting people walking around sometimes.

What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?

I haven't been able to find a job in the community, but there are several major companies in the area: M&M Mars is located in Hackettstown. The International Trade Center is located in Budd Lake, NJ. ITC offers BASF, Mercedes Financial and many others.

If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.

If you're interested in living in town or in a nice secluded area away from town while still being 15 minutes away from any major mall, store or restaurant, I would say this is your town.
