Sathyanarayana temple in Middletown, CT is a good place to meet people and be aware of events.
In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.
I don't see a lot of diversity but the people seem to accept differences without any problem. I have very friendly neighbors and passers-by on the street are quite friendly and sociable.
What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?
Hartford is the center for insurance and healthcase and related IT area work.
If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.
Look for rental apartments in and around the Middletown area since it's a nice place. Don't plan on buying for 1-2 years till you get familiar with the place.
