What is the name of the city or town that you are reporting on?
Barcelona
What is your current status? Are you single, dating, in a long-term relationship, married or divorced?
Married with two five-year-old fraternal twin girls.
What is it like in your country of residence for someone with your relationship status (married/divorced/dating)? If you're single, how do you meet other people? Do English-speaking people tend to gravitate to certain parts of your city?
For marrieds, fine. For singles, difficult to meet other expats. Expats do gravitate to certain parts of the city. For marrieds with children, checkout the school situation before moving because there's often a waiting list. Secondly, there are excellent doctors in the big cities.
If you are married or in a relationship with a person of another nationality, how has this experience enriched you as a person. What kind of challenges do you face?
I am American, my wife has dual nationality French-Spanish. My wife had lived abroad before we were married and therefore had broad perspectives and an excellent understanding of other nationalities.
