State of the Art Technology Labs, Textbooks from the US. Current best practices in teaching and methodologies. Holistic education for the child with an empasis on parent involvement (Teachers and Parents as Partners-TAPP). Afterschool enrichment activities and afterschool care available.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
Curriculum is based on the IBO standards as well as the American educational model. The child's social and emotional well being is emphasized in addition to the academics.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
TAPP (Teachers and Parents as Partners) program focuses on parenting awareness providing a forum for discussing relevant issues in terms of schooling or child development. Home & School Club focuses on organizing community events, programs and assemblies.
