The school is an American International school with over 77 nationalites of students and families

What grade levels are represented at this school?

Pre-K to Grade 12 as of this year (January 2007)

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Some take busses, but most are dropped off and picked up by parents and drivers. The campus has parking for parents to come into school and see their child to the classroom for elementary students.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

There are 70 or so after school activities from elementary to middle, and 24 speicial clubs in the high school.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The school is very welcoming with an active parent association. Welcome mornings are given by the administration and parent assoc. for new families. The curriculum is of high standards which helps families to be assured that their child is being challenged.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

The Parent Assoc. has big events throughout the year that cater to a school community of 3000-4000 participants at Festivals and other events. The school welcomes parents to volunteer in classes and meet others in a spacious Reception area.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

If you are looking for a school with an international feel while benefitting from high standards in education, DAA is a great choice. The school has a community center feel to it and is good for involved parents.
