What is the name of your child's school? (Please report on one school per survey.)

Rawd Al Saleheen

In what town or city is this school located?

Hawalli

How would you describe this school? (i.e. American, British, International, Local, etc.)

Bi-lingual Arabic/English

What grade levels are represented at this school?

KG-11

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Brought by car by parents or drivers/maids.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Very poor. There are no extracurricular activities, no PE area for girls. There is a small hot area for the chidren'st lunch break, which is overcrowded because they let the whole school break at the same time.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

No, none.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

No, none.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Run, don't walk away. This school is a poor excuse for an education. Most of the English are poorly paid Egyptian and Lebanese whose English is flawed.
