bus,car,subway- all sorts!
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
An incredible view of the East River, great space for Manhattan.
Extra curriculars have everything you could want- karate, many languages, dance, photo, science, etc etc.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The British School of NY is really the only way to keep my child focused on an international curriculum that can translate back to the UK. There aren't any other choices in NY that can do what this school can.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
There is a very active and sweet PA- they also organize a lot of fun parent events!
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
I would 100% recommend the British School for International or British people looking for a great place to send their kids. It is so welcoming and pleasant, and I know my daughter has grown leaps and bounds since we have been here!
