INternational, US curriculum

KG-12

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Woodstock is a residential school situated in a reserved forest in the Himalaya. Most students reside in one of our hostels on the hillside.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Woodstock has excellent modern facilities, including a new gymnasium, an outdoor centre, a new science suite, several computer labs and wireless access throughout the school.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

Woodstock is a long-established international school with experienced staff who work hard to enable students to settle in to their new academic and residential setting.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

Very few parents live near the school. There is no PTA, but the school makes plenty of opportunity for parents to interact with teachers when they bring their children to school at the beginning of each semester.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Provided you are happy with the idea of a boarding school, Woodstock is a good choice. Residences are well-staffed and students are well cared-for. Academic standards are high, and almost all graduates obtain places in further education in the US, UK and elsewhere.
