very little for the hugh amount of fees paid.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
Nil - the directors whole educational theory is that the children will assimilate if left alone. This includes those children who can not read and speak english. No extra help for them - they will learn in the classroom with their peers. is the whole attitude
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
If you are in the in group great. If not, beware.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
Don't enroll your child here. Director and her husband are a nightmare. There is a big bullying problem. no extra help for ESL learners or remedial learners... it's all a lie.

guestThis is a very one-sided view from someone who clearly had a negative experience, but in my experience as a long-term parent, they are the exception. Read other reviews as well and if you are considering schools in Chengdu for your children, it's really essential to visit them all and make a decision based on the needs of your family.
