It accepts children from 3 up to 11 years of age

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Public transportation - tram, trolleybus, autobus (the kindergarten is located in Teika), a minibus service is planned for 2010/2011.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Playground is well-equipped, extracurricular activities - English, soccer (football), theatre class, planned Russian language.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The program was accredited by the French education system, so it is transferrable

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is a parent board open to all parents. Parents are expected to actively participate in school management matters and organisation of extracurricular events. As the school is a non-profit establishment, parent volunteering is strongly encouraged.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

The school offers a good quality native French language education and will benefit a child from every nation. It also gives a good insight into French culture and a head start in mastering of the language to those who are not native French speakers.

However, this year they accept only children 3-7 years old! And it is located in city centre, Rupniecibas 32 this year (moved away from the Teika0
