What is the name of your child's school? (Please report on one school per survey.)

Profound International English School

In what town or city is this school located?

Chengdu

How would you describe this school? (i.e. American, British, International, Local, etc.)

American

What grade levels are represented at this school?

University

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Drive

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

They are air conditioned and heated. Nothing else for anyone.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

This school took my money for a 1 year program. After two months they closed the doors and refused to refund our money. They had a few good Chinese teachers and one great American teacher.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

None

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

I would stay as far away from this school as possible. Contracts mean nothing to them. There are a lot of good people that were hurt badly by the closing. They are to reopen soon but nothing can or will change. They have only three months operations money available and the same thing will happen again. The management staff is as bad as I have ever seen
