EXCELLENT - Great Science labs, library, computer labs. Lots of extra-curricular choices with the option of riding the late bus home afterwards
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
Easy transition for my US kids who had been in UK schools for 2 1/2 yrs. before moving to Germany. Curriculum is IB which can even translate to some schools in the US. My children were way ahead when we moved back to the US - esp in Spanish, German, and Science. My younger 2 children attended the branch at Wiesbaden.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Very friendly parent group.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
I recommend choosing the Oberursel campus over the Weisbaden campus - Oberursel has much more to offer the kids.

guestWhile there is no doubt it in many ways is a very good school, I would strongly advise against moving to the school in the 11th or 12th school year. It could really hurt your childs opportunity for college later.

guestI am considering moving my kids to this school aged 4, 7 and 10. Iam worried that my kids will fall behind though as they are used to a British International School in Shanghai and I believe Germans start 'proper' school later at age 6 when we are used to aged 4? How does this school compare to the Brits? Should I be concerned? Thanks
