The school grounds are beautiful, very green, and the classrooms are all wood. There is a theater, art classrooms, and kitchen. They have sports and other stuff after school.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The school is very inclusive, and much more welcoming than most schools if your child is even a little bit different. The classes are all in Spanish, except for English, and is loosely Montessori based and very nurturing. The children and staff are mostly very friendly. We left a very traditional Catholic school to go to this school and we are very happy here.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
I am not aware of a PTA, but the one birthday party my daughter was invited to included parents and was very welcoming.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
If you don't mind total Spanish immersion for your child and appreciate a creative, kinesthetic learning environment, this is a wonderful school.
