International following the English and Welsh National Curriculum

What grade levels are represented at this school?

KG through to year 11

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

The School has its own bus service with bus monitors.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The teaching staff are the schools biggest asset. The facilities are adequate allowing for a high quality, child centered education.

Extra curricular activities include soccer, netball, tag rugby, Bengali dance, music tution and various forms of Arts and crafts.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The class sizes are very small, allowing for a lot of individual support. Through the school's personal and social education program children are prepared for moving on to new adventures.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

The Grace family is very close knit. The PTA (Friends of Grace) organise various events. Other social activities revolve around the sporting calendar.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Grace is a very good option for all grade levels, the educational level is of a very high standard. For elementary grades you need to apply early, as the classes fill up quickly and the management is keen to maintain small class sizes.

Grace International school takes students who's parents work for missionaries first. If you work in the private sector do not get your hopes up for placement at this school. Our children were wait listed at Grace for 3 years...never got in.
