In keeping with the school's stringent child security policy, a bus service is unavailable for children this young.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The facilities are excellent! The building is newer, has a fabulous indoor gym facility, a range of classrooms for different activities, beautiful wooded surround where children often go on nature walks and have picnics, several adventure playgrounds and an assortment of bikes, scooters, balls, sand toys. The parent association puts together family, children and parent activities about once a month. There are also a number of clubs for children to join. Most recent examples include: a thai dinner and dance, a train trip and picnic for children, a large (and rather famous)used things sale.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

There are no programmes to help children at this young age. However, I am aware of considerable help given to children who do not know English and the additional care given to children who are new to joining a school environment.

The programme for children is a very caring and nurturing one and stresses children to be happy as they spend their first time away from parents. Staff are very gentle and understandiung with the children. My children skip to school.

The pre-school is quite small as these things go in the area. Their maximum is 80 children spread between the several age groups and classes. At least one of the other pre-schools in the area is double that.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is a very strong and hard-working parent organisation that puts together loads of activities after school for children and families. Within the classrooom, children have a number of activities and outings throughout the year. Mothers day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, train trips, Mother's Day, picnics, visits from the fire station, teddy bear picnic, sport's day.......

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

You should do it!! The school is open to all nationalities. My child has over 9 nationalities in her classroom including American, British, Australian, Canadian, Norwegian, Polish and Singaporean. The school books up VERY QUICKLY and is a real favourite with parents because of its extremely gentle and child welcoming approach. So if you are considering enroling your child you should do it as soon as possible. The registration drive takes place in February for the following year.

By the way, the school also provides a free Mother and Toddler group for anyone with a baby or toddler. You do not have to be associated with the school to go and is a favourite with parents of babies and toddlers.
