Outstanding facilities with a focus on preparing the students very well for their academic and athletic future. The school has 160 extra-curricular activies from excellent performing arts to sports that compete internationally. Students achieve top academic scores when compared with other international schools

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

Arriving directly from the USA we found the curriculum based on North American standards but enhanced with international "best practices". We are very concerned about finding the right school since we will return to the USA and found that ISB's curriculums was in synch with our curriculum in Colorado. the school has well thoughtout transition services and programs for arriving ad departing students. My daughter loved the transition to ISB and made several close friends quickly. It was good start at a great school after moving 12,000 miles.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

The PTA and Booster Clubs are very active and involved. As a parents we are not only welcome, but encouraged to become involved with the school. ISB has a parent elected School Board which hires the Head of School. The parent member school board is called the "Board of Trustees". They set school [policy just ike the USA. ISB is a non-profit private school that reflects what the parents want for their children.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

If your child has education as a priority, is willing to do homework, and has a higher than average serious approach to their education - then ISB may be a good match.

Check their website www.isb.ac.th for other information. They have "checklist" on how to find the right school for parents on the website.

Hope you get admitted. Its one of the best schools in Asia.
