While the school facilities are a bit outdated, renovations have recently taken place. Last year, the football pitch was completely renovated from a standard grass pitch to a high-end turf field. Also, the high school and middle school administration buildings have been demolished, and new buildings have been built in their place. The entire middle school building has also been demolished, with a while new building now in operation in another location, along with the current construction of more facilities in space of the old middle school section. Extra-curricular wise, there is no shortage within the school. The school supports a wide range of sports, with activity conferences taking place both in the kingdom and in the neighboring Middle East. Clubs within the school also range from all sorts, including but not limited to community service organizations, literary clubs, and fitness clubs.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

As my child was a student in the U.S., and the school is an American style run school, my child had minimal difficulty adjusting to the new setting.

The school has a successful Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) that runs and organizes several events throughout the year, such as galas and international festivals.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

While the school may have suffered a poor reputation within the past five years, the institution has undoubtedly reversed 180 degrees with a complete renovation of administration, and is constantly taking the initiative to continue sound progress towards the betterment of the school. Numerous events and fundraisers are held within the school each year, gaining popular support throughout the city of Jeddah. The school highly supports students in their endeavors of creativity and philanthropy, as is seen by the numerous highly successful student run clubs, that are famous throughout Jeddah. The school currently has plans to build a new school at a location not too far from the old one. This new institution will have all of the standard state of the art facilities found in some of the most high end schools.
