How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
The facilities are excellent - school is held in a gorgeous home with a lovely view of both the beach and mountains. Each "bedroom" of the home is a classroom with table, chairs, whiteboard, etc. The kitchen is used to teach cooking, nutrition and health. The grounds are used to cultivate a garden. It is perfect for learning.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
As this is an IB school, and our school in the US is also an IB school, the transition is fluid.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
It is too small for a PTO. The parents, teachers and students gather occasionally to share in a celebration, meeting or event.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
I would not hesitate to enroll your child that is expecting a rigorous IB school. This school turned both of my middle-of-the-road students into exceptional learners and scholars. I could not be happier.
