Early Childhood (4y) to 12th Grade

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Most children get to school on a very good organized bus transportation system through out Munich and surrounding areas. But if you whish you can take your child every day to school by car.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The school is constantly under review what can be changed to the better. The facilities are very modern and up to date. You can find basically every afterschool activity you want from girl scouts to sports to art and music.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

We started here. As far to my knowledge there are no programs for repatriation but I am sure if help is need it can be arranged.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is a big PTO which is very active in all kinds of activities. Additionally there are area representives with coffee mornings etc.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Have sorrow chat with the Director of the admissions office and it might be helpful to bring your child to get a personal introduction to the school.
