International Moving Quotes
What advice would you give someone preparing to move to your area about the actual move, choosing a neighborhood and finding a home?
If you are moving to a new area, especially if you are moving to a new country, you should contact a Relocations/Orientation company to help you know what to expect in the new area, and how to prepare for the move. KOLL Relocations sent me pre-move information and provided me with settling-in information, including a city tour and a complete guide book. The consultants were very helpful.
What type of housing do you live in? Is this typical for most expats in your area?
I am in a single family dwelling with a pool. It is typical of most expat housing.
How did you choose your neighborhood and find your home or apartment?
KOLL Relocations found me a great house with many extras, and within my budget!
Are your housing costs higher or lower than they were in your home country? What is the average cost of housing there?
My housing cost is lower here. Not sure about the average housing costs in Houston, TX.
