What advice would you give someone preparing to move to your area about the actual move, choosing a neighborhood and finding a home?

Try to find a furnished place so you don't have to invest heavily.

What type of housing do you live in? Is this typical for most expats in your area?

Apartment building. Typical for upscale ex-pats.

Are your housing costs higher or lower than they were in your home country? What is the average cost of housing there?

Cheaper than Mexico where I lived before coming here. I don't know the average. We have a 5 story apartment with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths...we pay $600/month
