I think the main players would be Oil and Gas, Hotel Industry, And slowly rising up again is Real Estate and Banking. Health care is a constant though and there can never be enough health professionals in this city

Nurse. I was contacted by InterHealth Canada and invited to practice at the Trauma Center

How did you obtain your work permit? What advice would you have for others about work permits?

The HR department did everything for me. I just brought all my originals, gave it to the HR department, when they were finished with the visa they gave back my certificates to me.

No, the main language in the work place is English

What advice would you offer others about finding jobs and working abroad?

Go directly to the companies managing the hospital. It isnt always the hospital doing its own recruitment, they often outsource the management of a hospital to a private company. I got my job through InterHealth canada who manages the Rashid Trauma Center
