The Social Service is an easy, safe and relaxed way to just meet new people and make new friends/contacts in London. It also aims to specifically connect like minded groups of people in London. We organise the 'Socials' and invite our members to book their places. Then all they do is turn up and meet the others (average group size is 6 - 15 people) and enjoy socialising together.

What is unique about your organization?

The unique aspect of www.thesocialservice.com is that it is NOT about dating or gimmicks so there's no pressure to 'perform'. It's just about meeting new people, socialising in a relaxed, informal way and making new friends/contacts. Also, each Social is hosted so there is no need to feel nervous about coming alone.

What kind of activities does your group sponsor?

'Socials' can be anything from drinks in quality London pubs/bars, meals at restaurants, comedy club nights out, salsa evenings etc. and every 2 months we have a big party to get all our members together.

How often does your group meet?

There are at least 2/3 Socials per week. These are mainly in central London but we also hold monthly Socials in north, south and east London.

Is there a membership fee?

Free to become a member. You just pay a small fee for each Social you attend.

This social club is open to all nationalities. Approximately 60% of our 1000 users are British with the rest a combination of all nationalities including Australian, New Zealanders, French, Spanish etc.

English although we hold Socials for Spanish & French speakers/learners too
