Describe your group.

We are a English-language international Women's club, about 2/3 Japanese and 1/3 from around the globe.

We meet twice a month (Sept.-Nov., Jan.-Apr.) for a one-hour cultural or educational program and have an optional field trip to someplace of interest within the Kansai region.

In December we have a charity bazaar and holiday luncheon and in May we have a China Pete's fundraising sale and a spring luncheon.

What is unique about your organization?

Mix of Japanese and foreign women. Field trips are a great way to travel in and learn about Japan without worrying about language or directions.

What kind of activities does your group sponsor?

Cultural and educational programs, luncheons, bazaar to aid women's and children's charities, and a fundraising sale to keep our membership costs reasonable.

How often does your group meet?

Sept. - May twice a month.
