The American Women's Association has been serving the American community in New Delhi since 1947. Membership is open to all American citizens and to spouses of American citizens. We are located within the American Embassy Compound, Gate D, Panchsheel Marg.
The Objectives of our association are: - To encourage social interaction among all members of the American community in New Delhi
- To organize cultural activities to enhance our knowledge of India
- To provide services such as the AWA Library, Thrift Shop and Domestic Staff Registry
- To generate funds from the AWA activities and services to support our organization and its Outreach projects
- To provide a network for sharing information and assistance to the AWA membership
