Describe your group.

We are a group of English speaking ladies who meet at a restaurant and have lunch the 1st Wednesday of every month. We usually have a speaker about the local happenings, or an author, or an "expert" on something..all of the charity events sell their tickets and we have a monthly letter that goes out to keep everyone informed of what is happening around town.

What is unique about your organization?

There are no dues, everyone is invited . We are an "unofficial" group. It was started to provide a way for people to meet other ex pats who do not live in their same neighborhood. As I said, we are spread out.

What kind of activities does your group sponsor?

We try to get everyone else's news out. We only are allowed to do lunch as we are not official. We have a Christmas party and a summer party every year.
