Florence
Describe how you "dreamed" expat life would be before you moved overseas. Please provide as much detail as possible.
My 26 year old daughter and I (61) are planning on moving to Florence, Italy Spring of 2013 but after reading some of these comments it is hard to become positive and excited. I think people have unreal expectations of living in another country and need to be more open minded about living in a foreign country. I am going to try and embrace the differences and take things slow and know that it is not the USA.
