Describe how you "dreamed" expat life would be before you moved overseas. Please provide as much detail as possible.
No illusions. Having lived and worked overseas in many developing countries.
I wanted somewhere with a pleasant climate, nice friendly people and reasonably cheap to live and with in reasonable travel distance from Australia and New Zealand.
How has your expat experience met the expectations you dreamed about before you moved abroad?
On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate it 8.
How has your expat experience NOT met the expectations you dreamed about before you moved abroad?
The cost of living especially as I have a large family. Lack of good medical facilities.
