Describe how you "dreamed" expat life would be before you moved overseas. Please provide as much detail as possible.
Being a spouse, I am worried about how I can possibly contribute to our family income and stay busy. I could maintain our home...except that it comes with a mama and a gardener. Perhaps we can stop using them after a short period. I could make products to sell; candles, hanging chairs (wood?). I could brew beer or alcohol. I'd like to garden to produce food for us.
I am doubting all of these things because labor is so cheap...so a job would be the best use of my time...and I can do the other things after work and weekends. How can I find paying work? Even if it is TIA pay. What will we want that we didn't bring and can't get for a reasonable price?
