soapyhands posted IB Diploma on the Afghanistan forum:
Can anyone tell me if the IB Diploma Program is available in Kabul ? Is this something that may be difficult for schools to receive accreditation for. Have any schools applied for candidacy ? If not , is there a reason why not ? Any information would be great

adminee posted Semi-Retired in Afghanistan? on the Afghanistan forum:
A journalist working on an article for a popular finance publication is interested in connecting a few Americans over age 60 who have moved abroad after retiring from careers in the States and either found part-time jobs, started businesses or transformed their former careers into remote consulting gigs. We've talked with her about general trends in overseas retirement. She would also like to speak with a few retirees who fit this description. If you are interested, please e-mail me at betsy@expatexchange.com -- tell me a little about yourself and your job and how the journalist can reach you. Thank you! Betsy Burlingame Expat Exchange

I am indian having received a job offer in an afghan bank. Can some one suggest if it is safe to relocate there keeping in view of NATO forces getting withdrawn next year...
PaladinDoc replied most recently with:
I'm in Kabul and wouldn't recommend it at all if you have a family. If you're set on it then be ready to sacrafice. Risk assessment is unabailable, it changes from day to day and is dangerous every day. With the drawdown it is further unknown. If you have a financial goal and this will allow you to attain that, get in and get out.

Hi...Thanks for the tip.. I will be moving in Kabul in a bank. What is your risk assessment of Kabul in terms of both financial and physical security?
