If you are planning to work here in a specialized field you will NEED to bring your tools with you! Do not assume because they are readily available where you come from that the same will be true here. To order from abroad is quite costly. You have to pay duty on everything!! To the point of being ridiculous. A friend sent me a shirt, USED, and I had to PAY the Post Office to receive it AFTER they opened it and examined it!! Also the quality of most tools is poor, unless they are the big name brands and then they will be expensive because they are imported!!
