Exploring the Best of Vancouver

Buy or rent a bicycle, and see Vancouver, B.C. Canada by bicycle. The city has many great bicycle lanes and of course there is the sea wall bicycle ride. You can start this ride anywhere along the way at any point and travel from UBC all the way to China town. Seeing Stanley park along the way. My favourite trip starts out at China town in the DTES and goes over to Crab Park, under the Pan Pacific hotel to the Coal Harbour and Conventions Centre and the sea wall around Stanley Park. I then travel under along the sea wall to Granville market, to Science World and Back to China town. Or I can turn left at Granville Market and travel along the sea wall as far as Spanish Banks and Kits Beach and even out to the UBC grounds bicycle trails and Parks out there. Then there is the great bicycle ride to New Westminster, following under the Sky Train station. Another great ride is the one from Richmond Station along to sea wall there to Finns Slew. Via Steveston. The North Shore of Vancouver also has great bicycle trails well worth exploring too. From Chinatown, it is also a great bike ride along a bike path to SFU and into the valley. Bike trail maps at all tourist info booths. Bicycling is affordable.
