In Buenos Aires, most people eat dinner at 10pm or later! This was a difficult adjustment. If you go to live with a host family, be prepared to have a snack between lunch and dinner. Buenos Aires is sometimes called "the city that never sleeps". Most people go out dancing or to party starting at 2am!! If you arrive earlier, it's considered "not cool". This didn't really matter to me and I would arrive to go dancing at 12am and had a great time. But the real party starts later, just so you know!
