Walking on the Street

When walking on the street in Argentina, it's best to walk on the side closets to the buildings and away from the street. Buenos Aires has been known in the past for motorcyclists that rob people who walk close to the edge of the sidewalk/street. They drive by really fast, stick out their hand and grab your purse or bag. I never saw this happen when I lived there for 8 weeks, but it's always best to take precautions.
