If you really want to impress and show respect for the people in the country you are going to, LEARN THE LANGUAGE. At least learn how to say hello, goodbye, good morning, good night, please and thank you. There are many youtube videos that can help you with this. I promise you the people will be much more please and willing to help you if you TRY. Don't expect them to learn your language!
