1. Feira da Ladra (Thieves Market) every Tuesday and Saturday in Alfama’s Campo de Santa Clara. References to this market date back to the 17th century while its thought the market originated in the 12th century. Stalls sell a wide range of bric-a-brac to clothes, toys and antiques, even prints of old maps, old postcards and photos. 3. Mouraria nurtures a traditional Chinese community in this ancient Moorish quarter.
