Things to do in Cape Town

There is something very magical about Cape Town. Of all the beautiful places I have lived in, it is probably the prettiest. Although relatively young (about 360 years), this small yet impressive city has influences in atmosphere, architecture and cuisine from all the major civilizations who have lived there. From British, to Dutch, to Malaysian and Indian, you have a feeling of Europe and Asia colliding in a wonderful bouquet of color and spirit. While in Cape Town, you will certainly find it extremely hard to become bored, since there are so many great activities. Strolling through the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens behind Table Mountain, enjoying a delicious seafood lunch at The Waterfront, watching the penguins play at Boulders Beach, doing a wine tour of the beautiful Stellenbosch area, to skydiving over the Boland mountains, shark-cage diving or jumping from the highest bungee jumping bridge in the world, Cape Town really has something for everyone! With mountains, forests, beaches, deserts and 2 oceans, it really is a nature lover´s paradise. Regardless of where you choose to live, you are never more than 30 minutes drive away from something beautiful.
