Cheap-places-to-eat-in-Barcelona

If you're new in any city, it can be a pretty expensive exercise at first, since you are still thinking like a tourist and want to try out all the places that you typically see in the touristic spots. However with time you´ll find the cheaper (and often better) places to enjoy your dining experiences. In Barcelona there are many places like this. With the tapas culture in Spain, its quite easy to find some very good tapas bars in the Raval and Gracia neighborhoods, where you can find offers for a tapa and a drink for less then 3 Euros. Other popular and cheap options are Maoz (Calle Ferran) that serve buffet style Falafel sandwiches for under €5, as well as Wok to Walk that serves really tasty wok dishes that you can mix and match according to your taste. Another great option is the menu del dia, found at most places accross the cities where you can enjoy a starter, main, second and desert and drink for around €10 - €12. Again, avoid anything near Las Ramblas or Passeig de Gracia, as they will charge you twice as much for the same menu!
