Visit first -- do not look for real estate -- just come to see if you like the place... the people... the experience. Visit only and talk to everyone, even use a bit of HS Spanish if you have it, bring your meds and see if the pharmacies carry them. Visit the supermarkets and look at the food. Go to the movies and the local mall. Then with everything you learn and do, go home and take some time to think and catch up to yourself. If you are really interested, there will be a next trip and your Second steps will be a salsa.
