Morocco is an excellent country to live in. However, the cost of living does vary between cities with Casablanca (usually pronounced Casa) being the most expensive in every way (apt rental and food). One/two BR, Salon, Kitchen, Bathroom about $500usd. Often shortly after meeting a local national they will say that they are willing to help you in any way they can. Thus far I have found that to be genuine. Also, even though I've been here a year, I just learned that it is considered impolite to ask a local national what their LAST name is if you have just met them.
