Egypt is a modest country and Egyptian women dress with extreme modesty. Even so they are often subjected to sexual harassment. Expats should also wear modest attire. Showing 'skin' (i.e. even upper arms, neck or slight cleavage) is not acceptable and could lead to an Expat being approached by men and being subjected to unwanted sexual advances.
