Negotiating Taxi Fare in Israel

There are lots of tips and techniques you should use when it comes to negotiating a taxi fare in Israel. Like in any country, taxi drivers will take advantage of foreigners. Now the tips: do not let the driver talk you into picking up someone en-route (eventhough he claims it is his nephew). He is just trying to get an extra fare for the same ride. Do not fall for it when he says he does not have the change and he'll make a detour to pick some up (while your meter is ticking)
