When looking at the cost of living in Germany, Berlin is still lower than other major Cities in Germany. Apartments can be found to meet any price range and still have a quality of life. Farmers markets are everywhere and the cost is reasonable. Owing a car in not a necessity in Berlin. The public transportation system is very good and you can travel throughout the city and beyond easily.The city is safe and the culture is great.
