Preparing-Your-Spouse-Visa-to-UK---Part-1

The visa process is intimidating, overwhelming, scary, invasive, and the list can go on and on. It's okay if you are feeling this way when you begin or are going through the process. I certainly did. I want to share some tips on how to be better prepared before submitting your visa application. First, you have to gather a lot of information so be sure to do your research. Make sure all sources are legit and you are referencing the correct places (not just blogs of other people). The best place to start is the UKBA website. The UK is clear on what they need to successfully process your application and will send you back anything they do not use. I tend to be one who would rather send too much than not enough but be careful as this could irritate the agent processing your visa. For the spouse visa, they need clear evidence that your relationship/ marriage is legit and that there is financial sponsorship for you to enter the UK. The UK has great benefits and get taken advantage of so this is a recent addition to the visa application. You prove the financial piece by showing the amount required set aside in a savings account or through a contract and six months pay slips in the UK.
